2008: Hit .277 in 48 appearances...started 45 games...led the team in walks with 30...had 44 hits, 39 runs and 12 RBI...hit .472 in the lead-off position...alternated between second base and the designated hitter...second on the team among returners in on base percentage (.407) and runs scored (39)...had 11 multiple-hit games...named the conference Player of the Week on Mar. 4 after having three multiple-hit games in the series against Webber International (Feb. 29 and Mar. 1), hitting .615 in the series...ranked fourth in the conference in fielding percentage (.990)...had three hits and three runs on Apr. 19 against Florida Memorial...was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI against Thomas on Apr. 26.

Bridgewater CC: Starting second baseman for the No. 1 defensive junior college team in the nation...named to Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Tournament team.

Prep: 2004 graduate of Fauquier High School where he played for coach Paul Koch...batted .390 as a sophomore, .330 as a junior, and .340 as a senior...led team to its second ever playoff appearance...two-time All-District player...team MVP as a senior.

Personal: Born in Cocoa, Fla. on Sept. 27, 1985...son of Bill and Betty Steele...has one sister, Cristin...father, Bill, graduated from ERAU in 1978...majoring in Meteorology Research.
