RIDDER REFLECTS: “Murat is the ultimate teammate, he can defend, he’s an excellent passer, he can rebound, he can knock down some threes and he  can get to the free thow line. He’s got excellent toughness physically and mentally.  He’s one of those guys you love having on the floor late in the game because he does all of the little things that win games: take a charge, get a loose ball, make a great pass. He’s extremlety valuable to this team make no doubt about it.”

2005-06: Appeared in 33 games with one start averaging 5.3 points and 3.7 boards...scored in  double-figures five times off the bench highlighted by a a career-high 16 agasinst LaGrange (Ga.) on Nov. 30...had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Trinity (Fla.) on Nov. 26...also added 10 boards against Florida College on Nov. 8...led the team in free throw shooting (.868)...finished the year with 44 assists and recorded four assists in games against Lindsey Wilson (Nov. 12) and Trinity (Nov. 26)...four games with at least two three-pointers...finished fourth on the team with 28 steals.  

At Hill: Competed his freshman year at Hill which has produced numerous players which have advanced to four-year programs including Charlotte (N.C.), Southwest Texas State, Nevada, and Denver (Colo.)...strong student finishing with a 3.5 grade point average.
High School: Won two championships and was an All-League performer playing for Tofas Sport Club in Turkey and also played for the U-18 Turkish National Team.

Personal: Majoring in Aviation Business Administration...born March 8, 1980 in Antalya, Turkey...son of Besim and Zeynep Hisarkaya.
