Ridder's Remarks: “Ryan is one of the hardest working players ever to wear the Eagle uniform. He has played some quality minutes for us during his career, particularly in last year’s conference semifinal game where he was asked to step up and he gave us some critical minutes. He brings great physical toughness and is very aggressive, but his best quality is that he truly is one of the most favored and more popular teammates that we‘ve ever had. Ryan is the epitome of what our program is all about. He is a great person who is going to give us depth at the post position and some excellent senior leadership this year.”

As A Sophomore in 2008-09: Played in 29 games…averaged 2.4 points and 1.7 rebounds in 7.6 minutes per contest…was 26-of-46 (56.5 percent) from the field…scored a season-high 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the field, and collected a season-best eight rebounds in 25 minutes against Trinity International (Dec. 4)…had an 11-point, six-rebound game against Johnson & Wales (Fla.) on Nov. 3…had another double-digit performance against Covenant (Jan. 2), scoring 10 points to go with his five boards on the night…scored five points and pulled down seven rebounds against Edward Waters (Feb. 27) to help the Eagles advance to The Sun Conference tournament championship game.

As A Freshman in 2007-08: Came off the bench in 14 contests, averaging 7.9 minutes per game...averaged 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds...shot .500 (13-26) from the field and .781 (25-32) from the free throw line...tallied a season-high 14 points and seven rebounds against Florida Christian (Nov. 12)...posted an 11-point, seven-board performance against Fisher (Jan. 5), including going 3-for-3 from the free throw line...was a perfect 4-for-4 in free throws against Philadelphia Biblical (Jan. 1)...also had double-digit scoring with 10 against College of the Bahamas (Nov. 2).

2006: Redshirted in 2006.

High School: 2006 graduate of Westminster Academy...averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds as a senior...also played for Coast to Coast, South Florida Heat, and Miami Tropics club teams.

Personal: Majoring in Aviation Business Administration...born July 28, 1988 in Germany...son of Denyse and Firde Christian.
