Biography
As A Junior in 2011-12: Started in 17 of the 29 games he played in, averaging 13.8 minutes per contest…contributed 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds…second on the team in blocks with 20…posted a 14-point performance on 5-of-5 shooting from the field and 5-of -4 from the free throw line against St. Thomas (Dec. 1)…had a season-high nine boards on the road against Azusa Pacific (Nov. 25)…blocked three shots against McKendree on Jan. 7…registered 11 points and seven assists against Voorhees (Jan. 4).
At Itawamba Community College: Played two seasons for Head Coach Marty Cooper’s Indians…averaged nine points, seven boards, two blocks and two steals per contest as a sophomore…pulled down a season-high seven rebounds and was 4-of-6 from the field against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (Feb. 22, 2011)…bounced back from injury to shoot 42 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc in the 2010-11 season.
Prep: Graduated from Wingfield High School in 2009 where he played for coaches Herman Sanders, Lenard Cox and Rondell Coleman…averaged 13 point, eight rebouavends, three blocks, two assists and two steals per game throughout his high school career…team captain…All-Metro and All-City Junior All-Star…two-time Mississippi dunk contest winner…recipient of the school’s Scholastic Award.
