Zachary Phillips is in his fifth season as a manager for the Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team. The Ormond Beach, Florida native was well-acquainted with Embry-Riddle Athletics prior to his arrival having attended and worked several athletics events. In addition, he is the son of ERAU Athletics Director John Phillips.
Phillips is a 2019 International Baccalaureate graduate of Spruce Creek High School where he was a four-year member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Phillips completed his bachelor’s degree in human factors psychology in May 2023 and is currently working on his MBA at Embry-Riddle. In addition to his responsibilities with the basketball program, he does play-by-play for several ERAU teams, including soccer, basketball, softball and lacrosse.
