Prep: Graduated from Vanguard High School in 2006 where he was a letterwinner for coach James Travieso...named cross country team captain as a junior...two-time first team All-Area selection...also selected second team All-Area twice...recorded personal best times of 16:38 in the 5K, 4:41 at 1,600m, 10:12 at 3,200m, 2:21 at 800m and 28:47 in the 8K.

Personal: Born on November 21, 1987...son of Laura DeToress...majoring in Aerospace Engineering...taught Sunday School classes for kindergarten kids for a year.
