2011-12: Teed off in 10 events as a freshman for the Eagle men in which he tallied six top 20 finishes…shot a one-under par 71-72-72=215 to record a second place finish at the Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) Invitational (Oct. 3), his second collegiate start…finished with a one-ver par 73-74-70=217 to place tied for third at the BCU Spring Invitational (Feb. 29)…finished tied for fourth at the Bas at the Beach (Apr. 15) with an even-par 69-75-72=216.
Prep: 2011 graduate of Land O’Lakes High School in Tampa, Fla…played three seasons at Ridgewood High School under Head Coach Gary Zimmerman…had a 73 season stroke average as a junior…best 18-hole score was a 71 during his senior year…named to the All-Suncoast team as a senior.
Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1993 in Tampa, Fla…parents are Brad and Rhonda Kopsell…majoring in Air Traffic Management.
