2022-23 (Junior): Received D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award Earned a spot on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…played in two tournaments for the Eagles…recorded his best finish of the year at the Jay Jennison Cup (Sept. 26-27) to place 65th with a 250 stroke total...fired a season-best 243 at the Shark Invitational (Oct. 3-4)…aided his squad in recording the lowest single-season team scoring average in program history (294.7).
2021-22 (Sophomore): Received the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…competed in six rounds over two tournaments…averaged 80.9 strokes per round…recorded his best performance of the year at the Panther Invitation (Mar. 6-8), shooting a 238 (82-76-80) to finish T-62nd.
2020-21: Included in the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2019-20 (Freshman): Awarded a slot on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…played in 12 rounds over four events...helped the Eagles to a runner-up finish at the McDonough Cup (Oct. 28-29)...recorded a score of 240 (84-75-81) at the Battle at Hilton Head Island to finish t-38th...set new career-lows in single-round score (75) and 54-hole score (240)...finished the season with a stroke average of 80.8.
Prep: Homeschooled and graduated May 2019…coached by Don Garner and Lee Winters…shot a season best 72 over 18 holes his senior year…compiled a stroke average of 39.5 for nine holes…state finalist three straight years…second team all-area selection as a junior and senior…recipient of the VFJGA Sportsmanship Award in 2017…named a Top 50 Junior Tour Player of the Year in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Personal: Born in Winston-Salam, North Carolina…son of Amy and Dallas Reese…majoring in Aviation Business…went on mission trips to Tanzania and Honduras during his time in high school.
