Biography
2019-20 (Junior): Finished fourth in the “B” V8+ boat at the Hatter Invitational with a time of 10:54.4 (Oct. 26)…placed sixth in the “B” Championship 4+ boat in 17:41.6 at the Head of the South (Nov. 9)…also finished ninth in the “B” Championship 8+ boat at the same regatta in 16:57.3 (Nov. 9)…clocked a 9:47.4 in ERAU’s “B” V8+ boat at the Jacksonville Dual (March 7).
2018-19 (Sophomore): Led the Lightweight 4+ boat to a first-place finish in 15:42.705 at the Head of the Hooch (Nov. 3)...also won the Lightweight 4+ race at the Head of the South in 16:36.3 (Nov. 10)...part of the JV 8 boat that placed second with a time of 6:39.83 at the FIRA Championships (April 6).
2017-18 (Freshman): Clocked a 7:36.9 in the 3V8 boat in a dual meet with Florida Tech (March 3)…finished fifth with a time of 7:15.0 in the Novice 4 “B” boat at the USF/Holy Cross meet (March 10)…posted a time of 7:25.8 in the novice boat in the JV Eight race at the TARS Regatta (March 14)…crossed the line 11th in the JV 8+ at the SIRA Championships with a time of 5:45.027 (April 21).
Prep: Graduated from Creekside High School in 2017…placed second at the Battle of the Blues Rowing Competition…graduated Cum Laude.
Personal: Born in Corpus Christi, Texas…son of Andrew and Kaylin Palmer…majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
