Biography
2024-25 (Sophomore): Won three medals at the FIRA Championships (March 29) to aid the Eagles in capturing a second-straight state title…took silver in varsity eights, bronze in varsity fours and another bronze in JV fours.
2023-24 (Freshman): Coxed in a team-high 17 races as a freshman, picking up three medals...helped the Fours to a fifth place finish (17:23.657) out of 43 boats at the Head of the Charles to open the season (Oct. 22)...took gold with the Eights (12:12.479) at the Head of the Schuylkill (Oct. 28)...coxed the Eights to two wins and the fours to two wins at Rollins (March 2)...won silver with the Eights at FIRA Championships (6:10.39); won gold with the Eights (6:07.34) (March March 30)...won with the Eights at Dad Vail (May 11) with a time of 6:21.560)
Prep: 2023 graduate of Canyon Crest Academy…competed as a coxswain for the San Diego Rowing Club…reached the semifinals in 3V8 at the Southwest Regionals.
Personal: Born in Little Rock, Arkansas…parents are Susan and James Darcey…majoring in Aeronautical Science…desires to become a commercial pilot…volunteered at the San Diego Rowing Club’s Learn to Row camp.
