Fall 2007: Listed at No. 31 in the ITA preseason singles poll...posted a 3-2 singles record in fall tournament play...defeated Bethune Cookman’s Stefan James 6-1, 6-4 in the opening round of the Embry-Riddle Fall Tournament (Sept. 15)...held off teammate Istvan Bolgar 7-5, 6-3 in the second round to advance to the semifinals where he fell to tournament champion Mislav Hizak 6-0, 6-3...suffered a tough three set loss (4-6, 6-4, 6-7 (5)) Savannah College of Art & Design’s Jan Menzen in the quarterfinal round of the ITA Regional tournament...Yasuda and Luke Maricic are ranked 15th in the ITA preseason doubles poll...the duo suffered a pair of losses in the fall, including a 9-7 decision to SCAD’s Menzen and Dima Chiriacov in the ITA Regional quarterfinals (Sept. 28)...fell to another SCAD duo (8-5) ? Willy Frei and Fernando Horcasitas ? in the consolation round.

As A Junior in 2006-07: All-Florida Sun Conference selection... recipient of the Georgi Beloretchki Award...closed out his junior campaign with a 19-4 overall record...won 16 of his 19 dual matches...won all four of his Florida Sun Conference contests...played 17 matches at the No. 4 spot posting a 14-3 mark...defeated St. Thomas’ Dustin Forman 6-1, 6-2 in his only match at the No. 2 position (Feb. 22)...played one match at the third spot, topping Xavier’s (La.) Miroslav Vukicevic 6-4, 6-2 (Mar. 10)...went on a 15-match winning streak from Feb. 22 to May 15...ranked 46th in the final ITA poll...registered a 21-3 overall doubles record, including a 14-1 mark when partnered with Luke Maricic...the duo won 14 straight between Feb. 9 and Mar. 17, including back-to-back shutouts of Xavier’s (Ohio) Mike Diecuic and Anthony Palmenter (Mar. 6) and Aquinas’ Jason Beydoun and Tuan-anh Tran (Mar. 7)...their only loss was an 8-4 decision to Vanguard’s Greg Chevalier and Vasileios Psyrras on Mar. 20...Fall 2006: Collected three wins in five singles matches...downed Webber International's Ignacio Cachan and teammate Michael Weiss to advance to the ITA Regional semifinal, where he fell to teammate Mislav Hizak...posted a 2-2 mark in doubles play with Carlos Bes...fell to teammates Hizak and Konstantin Lazarov in the double finals of the ITA Regional tournament (Oct. 1)...ranked 38th in the ITA fall poll in singles and 12th with Bes in doubles.

As A Sophomore in 2005-06:
NAIA second team All-American... ranked 44th in the final ITA poll...compiled a 21-6 overall record, including a 16-2 mark in dual matches...5-0 in league play...went 2-0 at No. 4 singles, 8-2 at No. 5 singles and 5-0 at No. 6 singles...closed out the season on an eight-match winning streak (Mar. 17 - Apr. 22)...turned in an 8-0 victory against Warner Southern's Ben Walker (Apr. 8) in his only match at No. 1 singles...came from behind to top Lynn’s Dennis Verduin 6-7, 6-1, 6-2 (Feb. 5)...blanked Flagler’s Aaron Haines 6-0, 6-0 (Mar. 3)...also shut out Northwood’s Roman Kowalski in the Region XIV championships (Apr. 22)...went 6-2 at No. 2 doubles with Evan Specht...also played 11 matches at No. 3 doubles with Sean Winbauer, going 7-4 overall and 3-1 in FSC play...teamed up with Carlos Bes Comeras for an 8-0 shutout of St. Thomas’ Chris Hunter and Ignacio Sarria on Feb. 4... Fall 2005: Advanced to the quarterfinals of ITA regional tournament in the fall... joined forces with Specht to advance to ITA Regional and ERAU Invitational finals, but were defeated by teammates Mislav Hizak and Konstatin Lazarov.

As A Freshman in 2004-05:
Recipient of the team's Most Improved Player award...recorded 21 wins in his first season seeing time mostly in the No. 5 spot...went 20-2 in dual match play...had an 18-match win streak from February-April...registered a two-set shutout of Warner Southern’s Cortez (Mar. 11)...took Aquinas’ Jared Flick to three sets before emerging as the winner, 4-6, 6-1, 11-9 (Mar. 8)...teamed up with Evan Specht to register a 21-5 record...the tandem notched 19 wins at the No. 3 doubles position and was undefeated in league play at 5-0.

Prep: 2002 graduate of Akashi Jyosai...ranked 16th nationally in singles and sixth in doubles...ranked No. 1 in Western Japan...third in the nation in team competition...represented the nation as captain of Team Japan in 2001...co-captain of school team.

Personal: Majoring in Aviation Business...born May 14, 1983...parents are Ryozo and Terumi Yasuda...a member of the Nippon Student Association.
