Kortney Gray was a three-year letterwinner for Embry-Riddle Track & field, competing for the Eagles from 2015-18 after transferring from Savannah State. Gray competed in the sprint events, as well as the 100m hurdles, long jump and triple jump.
In her first two seasons wearing the Blue and Gold, Gray posted career-best marks in the 100m (12.15, Apr. 2, 2016), the triple jump (11.54m, March 17-19, 2016) and the long jump (5.68m, Apr. 16, 2016).

In her senior year, she set personal records in the 60m hurdles (8.81, Feb. 25, 2018), the 100m hurdles (14.25, March 2, 2018) and the 200m dash (25.64, April 19-21, 2018). The Jacksonville, Florida native capped her career as a conference champion winning the Peach Belt Conference 100m hurdles title in 14.31 (April 19-21, 2018). Gray was also a USTFCCCA All-Region selection in the 100m hurdles.

Gray graduated from Embry-Riddle in 2018 with an Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Business Administration.
