2024: Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Silver Scholar. INDOOR: Competed in five meets… at the Florida Collegiate Invitational (1/27/24), he earned a PB in the 200m with 23.48…won first in the 4x400m relay team at the Celebration Pointe Classic (2/3/24)… at the Florida University Last Chance meet (2/9/24), he helped his team win the 4x400m relay…at the Peach Belt Indoor Track & Field Championship (2/19/24), he achieved PB’s in the 400m (50.64) and 60m hurdles (8.76). OUTDOOR: Competed in eight meets… at the Embry-Riddle Eagle Meet (4/20/24), he earned second in the 110m hurdles and first in the 400m hurdles…at the Peach Belt Conference Track and Field Championship, (4/30/24) he recorded a career high in the 400m hurdle of 54.25…had a 110m hurdles PR of 15.22 at the Lee University-Last Chance Invitational (5/11/24).

2021-22: INDOOR: Competed at five meets during the indoor season…had a PR of 8.85 in the 60m hurdle at the Samford Bulldog Open (Feb. 12)…raced to a career-best 23.92 in the 200m at the Tampa Distance Classic (March 4). OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets…had a PR of 15.90 in the 110m hurdle at the UCF Knights Invite (March 25-26)…placed sixth overall in a personal-best time of 57.11 in the 400m hurdles at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (April 22-23).

PREP: 2021 graduate of East Lake High School…four-year letterwinner in track…2021 FHSAA Class 4A District 6 champion in the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles…sat at the top of the podium on seven occasions in 2021…recorded personal bests of 15.10 in the 110m hurdles and 40.3 in the 300m hurdles.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Clearwater, Florida…son of Michael and Sarah McHugh…majoring in Aeronautical Science…desires to become a commercial pilot…spent time volunteering at elementary schools and sports camps for kids.
