2008: CROSS-COUNTRY ? Raced in six meets for Embry-Riddle...best overall finish came at the Florida Tech Invitational (Sept. 13) where he finished ninth with a time of 27:38...clocked a season-best 27:26.90 at the FSU Invitational (Sept. 27)...placed fifth among Eagle runners and 12th overall at the Sand Shark Invitational (Nov. 8) with a time of 28:26. INDOOR ? Placed fifth in the 1000m run in 2:52.17 at the Winter Sun meet (Jan.; 19)...competed in the Blue Gold Invite and finished fifth in the 800m run in 2:05.17 (Feb. 2). OUTDOOR ? Finished fourth in 800m run in 2:01.65 at the 2008 FSC Championships (April 21).
2007-08: CROSS COUNTRY ? Participated in six meets...had his best time at the UT Early Bird Open (Sept. 14) after crossing the finish line in 24:24.00.
Prep: A three-year starter and captain for his club soccer team.
Personal: Born in Valdosda, Fla. on Nov. 18, 1986...son of Nancy and Terry Shiver...majoring in Engineering Physics.
