2009: CROSS COUNTRY – Raced in eight meets…scored points in three meets for the Blue and Gold, as he was the fifth Eagle finisher at the Florida Tech Invite (Sept. 12), Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 18) and the Southeastern Classic (Oct. 24)…recorded his fastest time of 25:36.11 at the Charles Bowles Invitational (Oct. 3).

2008-09:  OUTDOOR – Raced to a ninth place finish in the 5K run at the Spike’s Classic (Mar. 21) with a time of 17:00.91. INDOOR – Placed fourth in the 5K run at the Winter Sun (Jan. 17) in a time of 16:51.1…completed the 5K at the ERAU Challenge (Jan.31) in 16:16.44 and placed fourth.  CROSS-COUNTRY – Raced in seven meets for ERAU, scoring points in two of them…was the No. 3 Eagle finisher and sixth overall at the Asics Invitational (Sept. 20) with a time of 28:16.88…clocked a season-best 26:31 at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov.8) to finish sixth on both the Eagles’ squad and overall…ran a 27:33 at the NAIA Championships (Nov. 21).

2007-08: INDOOR TRACK – Competed in the Winter Sun meet finishing fourth in the 5K run in 16:51.10 (Jan. 19)… finished sixth in the 5K run at the Blue and Gold Invite (Feb. 2)… took third in the 10K and fourth in the 3K steeplechase at the FSC Championships (April 21). CROSS COUNTRY – Ran in seven events…was the fourth ERAU runner to cross the finish line at the Hatter Invitational (Oct. 12), completing the course in 29:22.

Prep: A 2007 graduate of Chatham High School…earned six letters while participating in track and cross country…a first-team All-Conference selection.

Personal: Born on June 22, 1989…son of Barbara and Greg Leonard...majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
