2010-11: INDOOR – Pole vaulted in two meets, recording marks of no height in both meets. OUTDOOR – Placed seventh with a season-best pole vault of 4.30m at the USF Collegiate Invitational (Apr. 1)…took fourth at the B-CU Beach Invitational (Apr. 9) with a mark of 4.11m in the pole vault…won bronze at The Sun Conference Championships in the pole vault with a 4.05m.

2008-09: INDOOR – Competed at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (Feb. 6) in the pole vault event, finishing in eighth place after vaulting to a height of 3.90m. OUTDOOR –Ran the 200m at the Winter Sun #1 (Jan. 17) in 25.60…competed in the 60m dash at the ERAU Challenge (Jan. 31) and crossed the finish line in 7.69 for the Blue and Gold…pole vaulted 4.03m at the ERAU Last Chance (Jan. 21) and took home sixth place…took second at the Spike’s Classic (Mar. 21) in the pole vault event, recording a height of 3.65m…took third place at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 20) in the pole vault, recording a height of 3.60m.

2007-08: INDOOR – Jumped 12’ 5.5” and finished fourth in the pole vault at the Winter Sun #1 (Jan. 19)…vaulted to a fifth place finish in the ERAU Challenge (Feb. 2)…took fourth place by vaulting to a height of 3.96m at the ERAU Last Chance meet (Feb. 22). OUTDOOR – Competed in the long jump and pole vault, jumping 5.39m and vaulting to a height of 3.65m for third place at the Spike’s Classic (Mar. 15).

PREP: A 2007 graduate of Mount St. Michael Academy in Bronx, N.Y…earned five letters in track and soccer…first athlete in his school’s history to participate in the decathalon…tied for the second highest pole vault at his school…was the fifth highest vaulter in New York City…garnered multiple medals.

PERSONAL: Born in Kingston, Jamaica on Dec. 10, 1989…son of Carlene Joasil…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…member of the Air Force ROTC and Afro-Caribbean clubs.
