Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics

2016: INDOOR: Established career-fastest time of 7.09 in the 60m at the KMS Invitational (Jan. 31)…placed sixth with a season-best time of 21.85 ion the 200m at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance Meet (Feb. 20). OUTDOOR: Posted career-best times in the 100m (10.81) and 200m (21.40) at the Spikes Classic (April 1)…won three events at the Florida DII Intercollegiate Invitational, including the 100m in a wind-aided 10.54 and the 200m in a wind-aided 21.27…Shrimpton was also part of the 4x400m relay team won the event in 3:22.60 (April 16).
 
PREP: Graduated from the IMG Academy in June 2015…competed in the sprinting events under coaches Loren Seagrave, Joice Maduaka and Rob Jarvis…personal-best in the 100m is 10.81 and is 21.91 in the 200m.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Kampala, Uganda on October 10, 1996…son of Timothy and Karen Shrimpton…majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.
