Biography
2017-18: INDOOR: Competed in five meets…recorded career-best mark of 4.40m in the pole vault at the JDL Last Chance Invitational (Feb. 25)…posted career-high 1.60m in the high jump at the ERAU Indoor-Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 20). OUTDOOR: Participated in eight meets…set career-high mark of 4.40m in the pole vault and earned a third-place finish in the event at the Peach Belt Championships (Apr. 19)…registered career-best 1.65m in the high jump at the ERAU-West Virginia Wesleyan Dual (March 5).
PREP: 2017 graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School…personal best of 4.42m in the pole vault…placed fifth in the pole vault at the state championships as a sophomore and again as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born in Stafford, Connecticut…son of Rita and Rodrick Bertrand…majoring in Aerospace Physiology.
