2021-22: Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Gold Scholar…D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction. INDOOR: Competed in four meets. OUTDOOR: Competed in five meets…posted a career-best 4.55m (14-11) to place second in the pole vault at the Embry-Riddle Spike’s Classic (April 1-2).

2020-21: Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Gold Scholar…Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction. OUTDOOR: Competed in four meets…placed second at the Embry-Riddle Invite (April 17) with a career-best vault of 4.41m (14-5.5).

Prep: Wrapped up his high school career at Liberty-Benton High School in 2020…coached by Tim DeCooman, Shannon DeCooman and Jack Quisno…a two-time Blanchard Valley Conference first team selection…earned All-Ohio honors in 2019 after setting a personal record of 4.36m (14-4) in the pole vault...also lettered in golf and basketball…was named to the All-Ohio and Blanchard Valley All-Academic teams…selected as the LBHS valedictorian.

Personal: Born in Findlay, Ohio…parents are John and Janet Kotey…majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
