Biography
2017-2021 at Tennessee State: Threw for the Tigers for four seasons…holds the program record in discus (48.16m), javelin (52.94m) and weight throw (16.96m)…placed first in the shot put, discus, and javelin at the 2021 UCF Black and Gold Invite…won in the discus and javelin events at the 2021 Margaret Simmons Invite…took first in the weight throw at the 2020 Edward Temple Classic…sat at the top of the podium at the 2020 UAB Green and Gold Invitational in the shot put…recorded three top-8 finishes at the 2021 Ohio Valley Conference Championship.
PREP: 2017 graduate of Arabia Mountain High School…finished third at the Georgia state meet in 2016 and 2017…holds the school record for longest discus throw…recorded personal bests of 176-2.5ft in the discus, 51-11ft in the shot put, 60-2.5ft in the weight throw, and 153-10ft in the javelin.
PERSONAL: Born in Dekalb, Georgia…son of Michael and Tammy Willingham…majoring in Unmanned Systems…desires to be an aviation engineer…spent time as a student trainer at local YMCA’s and summer camps.
