2008: CROSS-COUNTRY ? Raced in six events for the Blue and Gold...never finished lower than fourth in the Eagle pack...placed third on the team and fourth overall at the Hatter Invitational (Oct. 17) with a time of 26:53...was the No. 1 ERAU finisher at the Great Lakes Challenge, clocking in at 25:43...ran the ninth fastest race in Embry-Riddle history at the NAIA Championships (Nov. 21), finishing in 25:39...named an NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete.

2007-08: INDOOR - Ran the 5K at the NAIA National Championships finishing in 16:17.86...placed second in 5K at Blue and Gold Invite in 15:45.16 (Feb. 2). OUTDOOR - Co-FSC Runner of the Year...named an NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete...took second place in the 5K in 15:58.64 at the Spikes Classic (Mar. 15)...placed seventh in the NAIA Outdoor Track nationals marathon in 2:30:49.0 (May 23)... finished second in the 10K, second in the 5000m run and first in the 3000m steeplechase at the FSC Championships (Apr. 21). CROSS COUNTRY ? Ran in eight events scoring in seven...placed first among Embry-Riddle runners at the Sand Shark Invitational (Oct. 20) in a time of 26:09...was also the No. 2 Eagle runner at regionals and nationals...came in third for the Eagles in three events, including the season-opening Mountain Dew Classic at the University of Florida (Sept. 7)... member of the All-Region and All-FSC teams.

2006-07: INDOOR ? Ran the 3000m in 9:11.67 at the Florida Intercollegiate meet (Jan. 13)...finished the 5000m in a ERAU record time of 15:35.90 at the ERAU Last Chance Meet (Feb. 24)... met the ?A’ standard for the outdoor track nationals in the half marathon after a second-place and Embry-Riddle record time of 1:12:06 at the Seaside Half Marathon (Mar. 4). OUTDOOR ? Crossed the finish line of the 10,000m in a record time of 32:37.97 at the Florida Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 19)...posted a time of 10:00.36 in the 3000m steeple chase at the Georgia Tech Invitational (May 12)...ran the marathon at the NAIA National Track & Field Championships (May 24) in an ERAU record time of 2:42:28.11. CROSS COUNTRY ? Raced in seven meets and scored in six...placed third on the team at the Florida Tech Invitational and was the Eagles’ No. 4 runner at the Greater Louisville Classic (Sept.30), the Florida State Invitational (Oct. 7), the Southeastern Classic (Oct. 21) and the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 18)...ran his fastest race of the year or 27:01.25 at the NAIA National Championships.

2005-06: Lettered in both cross country and track at Fresno Pacific...finished 18th overall in the marathon at the 2006 NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2:41.

Prep: Graduated from Sultana High School in 2005 where he was a four-year letterwinner for coaches John Mahr and Ron Bonner...ran a 2:45.21 marathon...set personal records of 15:35 in the 5K and 15:24 in the three-mile run...placed 13th at the California CIF meet.

Personal: Born in San Bernadino, Calif. on April 24, 1987...son of Jay and Cindy Patterson...majoring in Engineering Physics.
