Biography

2016: INDOOR: Posted season-best pole vault of 4.25m at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance Meet, finishing second in the event (Feb. 20). OUTDOOR: Vaulted season-high 4.25m at the ERAU-West Virginia Wesleyan Dual (Feb. 27)…took third in the pole vault (4.10m) at the Florida DII Intercollegiate Invitational (April 16).
 
2015: INDOOR: Finished fifth with a vault of 4.10m in the pole vault at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 17). OUTDOOR: All-Conference performer in the pole vault, finishing second with a 4.35m performance at The Sun Conference Championships (April 19)…also competed in the triple jump at the conference meet, posting a mark of 11.62m…career-best mark of 4.55m in the pole vault came at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (March 28)…threw the javelin 36.78m at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 21).
 
2014: INDOOR: Pole vault marks included 3.65m at the ERAU Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 25) and 4.35m at the ERAU Last Chance Meet (Feb. 22).  OUTDOOR: Competed in four meets…top marks include 56.04 in the preliminaries of the 400m and 11.83m in the triple jump at The Sun Conference Championships (April 21-22).
 
PREP: A 2012 graduate of James W. Robinson Secondary School in Virginia…competed in the pole vault under coach Rob Muzzio…was named to the All-State team as a senior…posted his best mark in the pole vault at 4.11m.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Yokosuka, Japan on Nov. 25, 1993…parents are William and Diane Lietzau…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…wants to be a fighter pilot for the U.S. Air Force.
