2019-20: CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in five races...posted a season-best finish of 15th at the ASICS Embry-Riddle Classic (Sept. 21)...ran a season-best time of 20:24.0 at the Charles Bowles Invitational (Oct. 5).

2018-19: CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in six meets, including all three postseason races...became the 12th-fastest 5K runner in program history at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 22) with a time of 18:39.72...also became the sixth-fastest 6K runner in team history at the NCAA II South Region (Nov. 17) in a time of 22:57.58. OUTDOOR: Competed at two meets, invcluding a seventh-place finish in the 3000M Steeplechase at the Peach Belt Conference Championship (April 18-20) in 12:28.09.

2017-18: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll awardee. CROSS COUNTRY:Participated in seven meets…second team All-SSC performer after finishing in 23:34.35 at the SSC Championship (Oct. 21)…posted a season-best time of 19:24.3 at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 23)…fourth Eagle finisher at the NCAA II National Championship (Nov. 18), finishing in 23:55.8. INDOOR: Ran in five meets, with her best meet coming at the Embry-Riddle First Chance Last Chance (Feb. 17) where she posted a pair of career-best times in the Mile (5:27.10) and 3,000m (10:38.07). OUTDOOR: Claimed the Peach Belt title in the 3,000m Steeplechase while posting a personal-best time of 11:41.68 at the Peach Belt Conference Championship (April 21)...also ran a career-best time in the 5,000m at the PBC Championship (18:44.10)...at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (March 23) she ran to a pair of career-fastest times in the 1,500m (5:10.10) and 2,000m Steeplechase (7:48.31).

2016-17: Redshirted.

2015-16: CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all six meets for the Eagles…finished a season-best ninth at the Moccasin Invitational with a time of 20:23.80 (Sept. 25)…recorded her fastest time of the year, a 19:05.50, at the Sand Shark Invitational (Oct. 24). INDOOR: Posted three personal-best times during the indoor season, including a 5:37.84 in the Mile at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 20), a 10:52.75 in the 3000m at the Samford Open (Feb. 13) and a 19:25.72 in the 5000m at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 23). OUTDOOR: Won the 3000m Steeplechase in 11:56.50 at the Florida DII Intercollegiate Invitational (April 16) where she also helped the 4x800m relay team place second in 9:58.03…ran a pair of personal bests in the 800m (2:30.20) and 3000m Steeplechase (11:48.05) at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic (April 2).

PREP: Graduated in the spring of 2015 from Merritt Island High School...attended Chatfield Senior High School as a freshman and sophomore...earned first team All-Conference honors in cross country as a senior...lettered in soccer for four seasons, helping Merritt Island to a state runner-up finish in 2013-14...All-Conference performer on the soccer pitch in 2014 and 2015.

PERSONAL: Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado...parents are Miriam and Marko Hakamaa...majoring in Mechanical Engineering...volunteered at Walk on Water Ministries and served as an assistant coach for a Central Brevard U14 co-ed soccer team.
