Tracy Hanson joined women’s golf in the spring of 2024 as a volunteer assistant coach. Hanson brings decades of experience to the program, competing at the collegiate level at San Jose State University and turning pro in 1993.
 
While with the Spartans, Hanson aided SJSU to a national championship in 1992. For the next two years, she played in the Women Professional Golfers’ European Tour, Futures Tour, Players West mini-tour, and the Asian Tour. Then from 1995 to 2008, Hanson competed in the LPGA Tour where she earned multiple top-10 results and finished as runner-up on two occasions.
 
Hanson’s achievements led to her induction into the National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2003 and the San Jose State University Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.
