2024-25 (Junior): Named to the All-Sunshine State Conference team…included on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…contributed to the program’s first-ever NCAA II title with a third-place result in fours at the national championship…crowned an SSC champion with a win in fours at the conference championship (April 25), which aided ERAU in capturing its fourth-consecutive SSC title…took gold in JV fours at the FIRA Championships (March 29) to aid the Eagles in capturing a second-straight state title.
2023-24 (Sophomore): Named to the All-Sunshine State Conference team…included on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…saw action in 16 races…earned three medals including two golds…part of the SSC’s Boat of the Year (Varsity 8)… claimed victories in DII Fours (7:52.69), JV Eights (7:16.09) and JV Fours (7:47.60) at the FIRA Championships (March 30) to help the Eagles win their fourth-straight state title…earned a bronze in DII Eights (7:06.41) at the Knecht Cup (April 14)…grabbed a victory in Eights (6:56.8) at the SSC Championship (April 26) to aid ERAU in a third-consecutive conference crown…competed at the NCAA II National Championship (June 1) in Eights.
2022-23 (Freshman): Competed in 11 races, two of which were for Varsity 8, the SSC Co-Boat of the Year…gathered five wins…earned a gold and a silver medal…started the spring with a win at Rollins (Mar. 4) in Fours ‘B’ (7:57.4)…bested Barry (Mar. 11) also in Fours ‘B’ (8:10.1)…captured SSC Boat of the Week honors thanks to a third-place result at the DeLand Double Duals (Mar. 18) in Fours (8:07.1)…won silver at the FIRA Championships (Apr. 1) in DII Fours (7:53.18), aiding the program to its third-straight top-2 placement in the overall standings at the event…earned a gold medal at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 13) in DII Eights (6:50.379)…competed at the NCAA II Championship (May 27), finishing sixth in Fours (8:33.663).
Prep: 2022 graduate of Brentwood High School.
Personal: Born in Nashville, Tennessee…parents are Stephanie and Randy Hurt…majoring in Meteorology.
