2015: Made two starts in nine total appearances…tossed 2.2 innings at Northwood (March 7), allowing just two hits…pitched a perfect inning of relief against Southeastern (April 17).
2014: Made seven appearances with three starts as a sophomore...posted a 3.20 ERA in 19.2 innings, striking out 16 batters and allowing just 14 hits...pitched 5.1 innings against Cornerstone (March 6) with five strikeouts and just two hits against...struck out five in 4.2 innings of relief at St. Thomas (April 12), allowing just a pair of hits.
2013: Appeared in 15 games with one start as a freshman...tossed 25.0 innings with a 3.24 ERA, giving up nine earned runs while fanning 21...recorded a 2-2 record.
2012: Redshirted.
Prep: Graduated from Cypress Lake High School in 2011…named his team’s Most Valuable Pitcher during his senior season…second team All-Region honoree and first team All-District member in 2011…sported a 1.51 ERA in 55.2 innings over the course of his senior campaign…opponents hit just .169 off of him while striking out 67 times.
Personal: Born in Fort Myers, Fla. on July 21, 1993…son of Erin and Larry Demarest…pursuing his MBA…volunteered for the Special Olympics in high school.
