Fall 2011: Ranked No. 43 in the ITA/NAIA preseason singles rankings…turned in 3-2 singles record…first win of the year was a three-set (2-6, 7-6, 6-2) victory over Rollins’ Kayli Ragsdale in the ERAU Open (Sept. 16)…downed Webber International’s Laura Nowak (6-7, 6-2, 11-9) and St. Thomas’ Manuela Gil (6-3, 6-0) to advance to the USTA/ITA Regional quarterfinals where she lost to teammate Ekaterina Kamendova, 3-6, 1-6 (Oct. 1)… teamed up with Yi Ching Chen for a 6-2 doubles mark…the tandem repeated as USTA/ITA Florida Regional doubles champions after holding off teammates Ekaterina Kamendova and Rocio Frej Vitalle 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 in the regional final (Oct. 3)…earned a fourth place finish at the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships…Strom ad Chen are ranked fourth in the ITA/NAIA preseason doubles poll.

As A Junior in 2010-11: ITA All-American…second team All-Conference honoree…in at No. 49 in the final ITA/NAIA ranking of the season…was 16-8 in singles, including an 11-6 ledger in dual matches and a 4-0 league record…posted back-to-back shutouts of Florida Tech’s Abbey Keister (Feb. 6) and Southeastern’s Wendy Reade (Feb. 8)…scored the clinching point in the Eagles’ wins over Southeastern, Webber International (Apr. 6) and Valdosta State (Apr. 9)… posted a 29-5 doubles record…went 28-5 in tandem with Yi Ching Chen…the duo spent five months at the top of the ITA/NAIA national poll and finished the season ranked No. 2…the duo owned a nine-game win streak from Feb. 3 – Mar. 5…in five of their last six matches of the year, Strom and Chen dropped just six games. Fall 2010: Ranked No. 41 in the ITA/NAIA preseason poll…turned in a 5-2 singles record…won two of three matches in the Blue bracket of the ERAU Open (Sept. 17-19)…topped St. Thomas’ Emilia Vuorela 6-1, 6-2 and Webber International’s Laura Nowak 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Florida Regional (Oct. 3-6)…teamed up with Yi Ching Chen for a 10-2 record in doubles…the duo achieved ERAU’s first-ever No. 1 doubles ranking in women’s tennis in the ITA/NAIA preseason poll…Strom and Chen unseated 2009 regional doubles champions Hillary Collins and Magda Bresson 6-2, 6-3 to capture the 2010 USTA/ITA Florida Regional doubles title….the duo went into the USTA/ITA National Small College Championship as the No. 3 seed and upended No. 2 Paola Costa and Lilian Ferreira to advance to the title match…Strom and Chen defeated Strimple and Ashley Litchfield 7-5, 6-3 to bring home Embry-Riddle’s first ever national title in women’s tennis…the tandem also played its way into the ITA Super Bowl before falling to Armstrong Atlantic’s top-ranked duo of Alida Muller-Wehlau and  Barbora Kritckova 6-4, 6-0.

As a Sophomore in 2009-10: Second team All-American…second team All-Conference selection…finished with a 25-7 singles record, including a 19-4 mark in dual matches and a perfect 6-0 in conference play…second on the team in wins…played the majority of her dual matches at the No. 5 position where she was 13-3…closed out the season on a three-match winning streak…scored the clincher against Tampa (Feb. 26) with a 6-2, 6-0 decision against Ally Wooten…also clinched the Eagles’ semifinal win over St. Thomas with a 6-0, 6-0 defeat of Camille Allen on Apr. 17…finished at 18-12 in doubles…teamed up with Julija Stojkovska for a 16-9 mark and a 4-1 ledger in conference play…Fall 2009: Earned a 6-2 singles record in tournament play...defeated Bethune-Cookman’s Brittany Davis in the first round of the ERAU Open (Sept. 18)…rebounded from a tough loss in the first round of the ITA Florida Regional to win the consolation bracket, topping teammate Taylor McWilliams 6-3, 6-2 (Oct. 3)…partnered with Stojkovska for a 2-2 doubles record.

As A Freshman at Auburn Montgomery: Earned All-Southern States Athletic Conference honors after turning in a 9-3 singles record and a 14-1 mark in doubles…helped the Lady Senators to the NAIA National title in 2009…AUM also captured the Southern States Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championships.

Prep: Graduated from Glade Christian Academy in Coral Springs, Fla. in 2008.

Personal: Born in Vanersborg, Sweden on Sept. 22, 1990…daughter of Johan and Helena Strom…majoring in Business Administration.
