Biography

2013-14: CROSS COUNTRY – Raced in eight meets for the Eagles as a junior in a breakout season…posted a personal-best and a top finish at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 9), where she was the second fastest Eagle, finishing in seventh place overall in 19:16.84 and earned first team All-Conference honors and an individual bid to the NAIA National Championships…placed in 237th in a time of 20:35.93 at the National Championships (Nov. 23)…also earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors and Academic All-Sun Conference accolades for her performance in the classroom.

2012-13: CROSS COUNTRY - Earned second team All-Conference honors after finishing ninth overall at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 3) in 21:40.28…nearly broke her career-record at the Sand Shark Invite (Oct. 20) with a time of 19:49.17. INDOOR: Raced in four meets as a sophomore…she won the 3000m run in 11:25.17 at the ERAU Challenge (Jan. 20)…posted a college-best time of 5:36.95 in the mile at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 9)…she notched another first-place finish in the 3000m race in a season-best time of 11:12.46 and placed in fourth in the mile race in 5:44.41 at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 16)…competed in the preliminary race of the distance medley relay at the NAIA Indoor National Championships (March 2). OUTDOOR: Raced in four meets for the Eagles…she posted a college-best time of 12:59.96 in the 3000m steeplechase finishing sixth at the LSU Relays (March 22)…she placed in third in the 5000m race in 19:19.40 at the ERAU Spikes Classic (April 6)…she placed fourth in the 10,000m race and the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 46:51.09 and 15:05.09 respectively at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 9).

2011-12: CROSS COUNTRY - Participated in all eight of the Blue and Gold’s meets during her freshman campaign…second team All-Conference performer with a 20:53.03 mark at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 5), placing 10th overall…fifth ERAU finisher at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 19) in 20:05.00…personal-best time of 19:48.31 at the USF Invitational (Sept. 9). INDOOR: Ran in five meets for ERAU, including at the OUC Half Marathon (Jan. 3) where she posted a time of 1:30:42.00…raced to a season-best 19:13.60 in the 5000m at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 11), as well as a season-best mark in the 3000m (10:52.81). OUTDOOR: Competed for the Eagles in the Marathon at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 26), finishing in 3:39:25.60…finished second in the 5000m at the ERAU Spike’s Classic (Mar. 24), posting a 19:22.58 in the event…best 10,000m time came at the UNF North Florida Invitational (Mar. 31) where she finished in 41:24.84.

PREP: 2011 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School…two-time captain of the cross country team (2009, 10) and named team captain of the track squad in 2011…member of the first cross country team in Lower Dauphin history to qualify for the Pennsylvania State Championships.

PERSONAL: Born in Harrisburg, Pa. on Nov. 15, 1992 …daughter of Sandi and Randy Ross…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and National English Honor Society…partook in six missions trips over the course of four years.
