Biography
2012-13: INDOOR – Competed in two events as a freshman for the Eagles…competed in the long jump posting a 4.58m mark for ninth-place at the ERAU Challenge (Jan. 20)…competed in the triple jump placing third overall with a 9.78m mark at the ERAU Last Chance meet (Feb. 16). OUTDOOR: Jumped in three events for the Eagles…placed seventh in the triple jump with a 10.23m mark at the USF Bulls Invite (March 15)…she placed in fourth in the long jump with a personal-best 4.98m mark and fifth in the triple jump with a 10.08m mark at the ERAU Spikes Classic (April 6)…she placed seventh in the high jump with a 1.33m mark, seventh in the long jump with a 4.49m mark and finished fourth in the triple jump with a personal-best 10.37m mark at The Sun Conference Championships (April 22).
PREP: A 2012 graduate of Longwood High School…competed in triple jump, long jump and high jump.
PERSONAL: Born in Bayshore, N.Y. on Feb. 21, 1995…daughter of Luana and Michael Ramirez…was on the honor roll all four years…member of National Honor Society…volunteered at South Nassau Community Hospital as well as a soup kitchen and at Saddle Rock Ranch…majoring in Homeland Security.
