Biography
2015-16: WOMEN’S SOCCER: Started all 15 games…played a team-high 1,404 minutes…led a defensive unit that allowed just eight goals all season.
2014-15: WOMEN’S SOCCER: Named to the Capital One Academic All-District team…Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete…Academic All-Sun Conference…started all 21 games…logged 1,669 minutes, fourth-most on the team…anchored a defense that allowed just 15 goals all season…tallied an assist against Florida Memorial (Sept. 26).
2013-14: WOMEN’S SOCCER: Honorable Mention All-Conference…Academic All-Conference…saw action in 21 games with 18 starts…helped anchor an ERAU defense that surrendered just 14 goals on the year…contributed a goal and an assist for a total of three points on the year…scored her second collegiate goal against Warner on Sept. 29…registered an assist against Ave Maria (Oct. 17).
2012-13: WOMEN’S SOCCER: Named to the Embry-Riddle Athletics President’s Team…one of only five players to start in all 23 games…notched her only goal of the season against Warner (Oct. 7).
Prep: Graduated from St. Ursula Gymnasium in June 2012…played for SC Freiburg club team…member of the state’s All-Star team…also played for FC Rimsingen for six seasons.
Personal: Born on Apr. 19, 1993 in Freiburg, Germany…parents are Dr. Michael and Sabine Helwig…majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
