2021-22: D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award....Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Gold Scholar. INDOOR: Competed in three meets during the indoor season…ran a career-best 11:06.02 in the 3000m at the Carolina Challenge (Jan. 21-22). OUTDOOR: Recorded a personal-best time of 17:55.12 in the 5000m at the Embry-Riddle Spike’s Classic (April 1-2)... placed fourth in the 3000m Steeplechase in career-best time of 11:43.93 (April 22-23).
 
2020-21: CROSS COUNTRY: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…ran a career-best 6K time of 27:26.4 at the SSC Cross Country Championship (Feb. 27). OUTDOOR: Competed in five meets…fastest 5000m race (19:57.77) was at the Blue and Gold Invite (March 20)…recorded a PR of 43:11.76 in the 10000m at the Spikes Classic (April 2-3)…placed fifth in her first attempt at the Steeplechase in 12:37.04 at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (April 30 – May 1).

 
Prep: Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Matanzas High School in the spring of 2020...holds a trio of school records, including the 3,200m, 4x800m relay and Distance Medley Relay...captained her prep cross country team for two seasons...Daytona Beach News-Journal Best of Preps first team selection...Spectrum Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Matanzas High School Athlete of the Year.
 
Personal: Born in Queens, New York...daughter of Laurie Steffens and the late Thomas Steffens...majoring in Homeland Security...volunteered 300 community service hours.
