Biography

2016: INDOOR: Posted career-bests in the triple jump (11.54m), 60m (7.72) and 200m (25.81) at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance Meet (Feb. 20)…placed third in the long jump (4.79m) at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 23). OUTDOOR: Set career-fastest time of 12.15 in the 100m at the Spikes Classic (April 1)…recorded career-best 11.54m in the triple jump at the Shamrock Invitational (March 18)…capped season with four event wins at the Florida DII Intercollegiate Invitational (April 16), including the 4x100m (47.42) and 4x400m relays (4:05.69), the 100m (11.94) and a career-best 5.68m in the long jump.
 
2015: INDOOR: Finished first in the long jump (5.42m) at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 21) after placing second in the 60m (7.68)…ran the 200m in 26.85 at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 17). OUTDOOR:  Ran an 11.87 in the 100m at the UNF East Region Preview (May 8) before jumping 11.49m in the triple jump at the same meet…posted a time of 25.48 in the 200m at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic (April 4).
 
AT SAVANNAH STATE UNIVERSITY IN 2014: Competed for one year at Savannah State…competed in the 60m, 100m, and long jump…All-Academic recipient…made the Deans List.
 
PREP: Graduated from William M. Raines High School in May 2013… competed in track and field under coaches Lewis James, Jarius Mathews, and Bryon Copeland…team captain her senior year…personal-bests included 12.04 in the 100m, 25.21 in the 200m, 17’ 11.75” in the long jump, and 36’ 11.25” in the triple jump…awarded most athletic of her senior class…honor roll recipient and Senior Class Officer.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Jacksonville, Fla. on June 24, 1995… daughter of Marquita and Richard Wilson…worked in the Children’s Ministry at The Church of Jacksonville…volunteered at several AAU Track and Field Meets for children…wants to work for a major airline…majoring in Aviation Business Administration.
