Prep: Graduated from Pedro Menedez High School in 2008...named the track and field team MVP in 2005 and 2007...qualified for the state meet in the 1600m in 2005 and qualified again for states in 2008 in the 800m...holds the PMHS school record in the 800m and 1600m...also lettered in soccer...named Best Offensive Player...was a two-year team captain...was an All-Conference selection...receipient of the Coach’s Award and Hardest Worker Award in both track and field and soccer...earned the Distinguished Athlete Award from the U.S. Marine Corps.
Personal: Born on March 13, 1990 in Stockholm Sweden...daughter of Kjell Edbom and Lilian Mayor Edbom... sister Jenny also a member of the track team, both Jenny and Madeleine play for the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team as well.
