Biography

2005 Track Season: Clocked season-bests of 20:01.78 and 52:24.17 in the 5,000m and 10,000m, respectively.

2004 Cross Country Season: Ran in four of the Eagles' six meets?posted her best time of the year of 21:41.8 for 21st place at the NAIA Region XIV Championships.

2003 Cross Country Season: One of only two harriers to run and score in all seven meets?never finished lower than fourth in the Eagle pack (first-twice, second-twice, third three times, fourth-once)?the Eagles' top finisher at the Greater Louisville Classic in 20:29.11 (Sept. 27)?best overall finishes were sixth at the ERAU Invitational (Oct. 25) and the NAIA Region XIV Championships (Nov. 8)?earned All-Conference and All-Region honors courtesy of her sixth place regional finish?recorded her first sub-20-minute time and set a new Embry-Riddle individual record with a 19:50.90 performance at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 22)?recipient of the team's Eagle Courage award.

2002 Cross Country Season: Ran in each of the team's eight races...finished third at the NAIA Region XIV Championships (Nov. 2) with a time of 20:12... became only the fourth female student-athlete in program history to compete at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 23)... ran her best time of the season (20:04) and recorded the highest finish of any runner in Embry-Riddle history (92nd) at the national event.

Prep: 2002 graduate of Seminole Senior High... claimed a total of seven varsity letters for coach Bruce Calhoun's Warhawks...three-time All-County honoree... selected as Seminoles' Most Valuable Runner as a junior and senior...finished second overall at the regional championships as a senior and 25th at the state meet...helped guide the Warhawks to four consecutive conference titles...named Rookie of the Year as a freshman and Most Improved Athlete as a sophomore...helped lead Seminole's track squad to its first-ever conference title in 2001 and a repeat crown in 2002...National Honor Society student...graduated cum laude.

Personal: Born in Erie, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1984...daughter of Lou and Ellen Ferraro? majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
