2022-23: Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction. INDOOR: Competed in three races. OUTDOOR: USTFCCCA/NCAA II OUTDOOR All-Region in pole vault…earned first-place finishes in the pole vault with a mark of 3.10m each time at the Embry-Riddle first Chance Last Chance (Feb. 18) and the Embry-Riddle Spike’s Classic and Classic (March 30-April 1)…set a personal record in the pole vault with 3.35m at the South Florida Invitational (April 7-8)…came in first in the pole vault with 3.30m at the 2023 Peach Belt Conference Outdoor Track Championship to become a conference champion (April 20-21).
 
2021-22: D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award...Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction...Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Gold Scholar. INDOOR: USTFCCCA Indoor All-Region (pole vault)...competed in four indoor meets. OUTDOOR: USTFCCCA Outdoor All-Region (pole vault)…her vault of 3.10m (10-2) was good for second place at the Embry-Riddle Spike’s Classic (April 1-2)…matched her season-best vault of 3.25m (10-8) to win silver at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (April 22-23).
 
2021: OUTDOOR: Competed in five meets…capped her freshman campaign with a personal-best mark of 3.33m (10-11) in the pole vault at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (April 30 – May 1).
 
Prep: Graduated from Boone Grove High School in Valparaiso, Indiana…coached by Jessica McKinley…set the BGHS pole vault record of 10 feet 9 inches as a senior…won the Porter County Conference title and was a regional qualifier in 2019…National Honor Society…BGHS Academic Hall of Fame…graduate fifth overall in the BGHS Class of 2020.
 
Personal: Born in Chicago, Illinois…parents are James and Sharon Kimes…started flying when she was 15 and got her private pilot license at age 17…majoring in Aeronautical Science.
