As a Junior in 2011: Named to the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball third team roster, becoming just the second Eagle in program history to earn a spot on an All-America team…named as a member of both the AVCA NAIA Third-Team All-America and the AVCA NAIA All-Southeast Region teams…earned third consecutive Setter of the Year award from The Sun Conference…one of six Eagles to be named to garner All-Conference recognition…finished third in the NAIA with 11.4 assists/set, the second straight season she ranked third in the country in that category…totaled 1285 assists, the fourth-highest single-season total in school history, moving her career total to 3668 assists, good for second on the school’s all-time list…maintained ERAU career record for assists/set, increasing her career average to 10.98…appeared in 113 of the team’s 120 sets…recorded a 52-assist, 12-dig match in a five-set loss to No. 4 Columbia (Mo.) on Oct. 7…tallied double-doubles in four of the team’s five matches at the NAIA National Tournament Final Site, averaging 45 assists and 11 digs per match during the tournament.

As a Sophomore in 2010: Earned Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball All-America honorable mention recognition…named Sun Conference Setter of the Year for second consecutive year…one of six Eagles to be named to the All-Conference team…played in all 125 sets for the Eagles…finished third in the nation with 11.5 assists/set, which is a new school record for a single season…tallied a total of 1435 assists, also a new school record…recorded 66 assists in a 3-1 win over Shorter (Ga.) on Oct. 15, one shy of the school record for an individual match…registered five double-doubles during the season, including a 56-assist, 12-dig effort in a four-set win over Wayland Baptist (Sept. 2)…took over ERAU career record for assists/set with 10.78…moved into fourth place all-time in school history with 2,383 career assists.

As a Freshman in 2009: Garnered Sun Conference Setter of the Year honors…All-Conference performer after playing in 30 of the team’s 32 matches (96 sets)…led the league in assists per set at 9.9 (33rd in the NAIA)…tallied a total of 948 assists, 41 service aces, 52 kills, 180 digs and 12 blocks…had 45 assists, six kills and 14 digs in a 3-2 win over St. Thomas on Aug. 28…recorded 48 assists, two kills, two service aces, five digs and a block in a 3-1 win over Sun Conference member SCAD on Sep. 25.

Prep: A 2009 Florida State 6A Champion where she led her team with 27 assists, 10 digs and three kills in Timber Creek High School’s three-set victory over Royal Palm Beach…a four-year letter winner at TCHS where she played for Head Coach Alan Rubenstein…holds the career records in assists (3,557) and aces (232) at TCHS…set single season records at TCHS with 988 assists and 70 aces in her senior season…during the final-four tournament at the Florida State Championships she tallied a total of 67 assists, eight kills, 19 digs and six aces…member of the 2006 Second-Team All-Metro Conference…played four years of club volleyball for the Inland Volleyball Club in Orlando, Fla.
 
Personal: The daughter of Luz Benitez and Juan Vazquez…majoring in Aerospace Engineering...earned the starting setter role for the Torrimar club team and helped the team to the Silver Bracket semifinals at the 2010 Under 20 Junior National Championships.
