2006: Saw increased playing time as a sophomore...appeared in 97 games...charted 123 digs, averaging 1.27 per game...marked five kills in the defensive specialist position... charted a career high 20 digs against Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) on Sept. 2.
2005: Appeared in 33 games... marked 17 serving aces, 35 digs and 11 service receptions...tallied four service aces in one game of the match played against Edward Waters on Aug. 31.
PREP: A three-year letterwinner in volleyball at Eden Central High School...led the Raiders to two consecutive runner-up finishes in the New York State (NYS) Class B State Tournament...named the ECHS Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year...a Wendy’s Heisman Award nominee and a member of the first-team All-ECIC...played seven years of club volleyball with the Eden Volleyball Club and West New York Storm.
Personal: The daughter of Karen and Robert Meller of Eden, N.Y....majoring in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Air Traffic Management...volunteered with Peer Listening, Hand Clinic, City Mission, Soup Kitchen, Students Against Drunk Driving, and the SAFE program.
