Biography
2004 (Freshman): Team Most Improved Player, appeared in all 33 matches playing 108 games...valuable defensively at finishing second on the team in total blocks (69) with 18 block solos...recorded two or more blocks in 18 matches and recorded at least one block in all but three matches...posted career-high seven blocks at Warner Southern on Sept. 23 (0bs-7ba) and at home against the Royals on Oct. 23 (2bs-5ba)...posted 82 kills in 277 attempts including a career-high 10 kills against St. Thomas (Sept. 18)...added 53 digs and 19 service aces.
High School: The three-year letterwinner and senior All-Conference selection helped guide Libby High School to second-place finishes at States her junior and senior year...overcame a devastating injury her junior year to return and receive the Most Inspirational award as a senior.
Personal: Majoring in Air Traffic Management...born in Libby, Mont. on October 24, 1985...daughter of Cymon and Candace Curtiss (three brothers and one sister)...chose Embry-Riddle because of the nice atmosphere, strong academic reputation and very talented and friendly volleyball team.
