Following a stellar three-year career at Embry-Riddle, Hannah Gray joins the Eagle coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2015 season.
A native of Orange City, Florida, Gray came to ERAU as a sophomore after spending one year at Palm Beach State College. Gray’s impact on the program was felt immediately, as she stepped into the role of starting libero and promptly earned Sun Conference Libero of the Year honors in her first season.
In 2013, Gray shattered the program’s single-season digs record with 809 and established the school’s single-match digs record with 44 against Madonna on Aug. 30. She earned the league’s Libero of the Year honors for a second straight season and received Tachikara-NAIA All-America Honorable Mention recognition.
As a senior, Gray earned TSC Libero of the Years honors for a third and final time and was named to the AVCA NAIA All-Southeast Region team after totaling 694 digs. She also became the program’s career digs leader, finishing with a total of 2,107 digs in just three seasons at Embry-Riddle.
