Plymouth, Minnesota native Jason Morgan joins the Embry-Riddle volleyball team as an assistant coach for the 2014 season. Morgan comes to the Eagle volleyball program with several years of volleyball experience, including two seasons at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Morgan earned a starting role as a freshman outside hitter for the Mastodons before an injury cut his collegiate career short. He earned academic honors in 2002 for IPFW before graduating with a degree in Business Management in 2005.
During his prep career, Morgan played for the Great Lakes and Northshore club teams out of Milwaukee, Wis. and led his team to a fifth-place finish at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships - Open Division in his senior season.
Morgan works for GPS Logix, which he co-founded in 2012 and he continues to play indoor USA Men's Volleyball.
Jason and his wife Shauna reside in Daytona Beach, Fla.
