Following an illustrious four-year career at Embry-Riddle, Olivia Roa joins the Eagle coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2020 season.
 
A native of Port Orange, Florida, Roa came to ERAU after graduating from nearby Spruce Creek High School. In her first season as an Eagle, Roa tallied 308 digs, second-best on the team, and earned a spot on the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
In 2017, Roa was named to the All-SSC First Team roster after totaling 564 digs, and her 6.13 digs/set led the conference and ranked 10th nationally. Her 39 digs against Montevallo on Oct. 14, 2017, was the highest single-match dig total in the SSC that season, and she also ranked third in the league with 0.37 service aces/set.

As a junior, Roa was an All-SSC Second Team selection and a D2CCA All-South Region First Team honoree after racking up 674 digs, which stands as the fourth-best season total in program history. Her 6.18 digs/set topped the conference and ranked 12th in NCAA II, and her 37 service aces ranked fourth in the SSC.
 
In her senior season, Roa earned All-SSC First Team honors for a second time and was named to the D2CCA All-South Region First Team, becoming the program's first two-time NCAA II All-Region selection. She also became the program's first-ever AVCA NCAA II Honorable Mention All-American selection, while also being named to the AVCA All-South Region Team. For the third consecutive season, Roa led the SSC in digs/set with 5.80, and she wrapped up her career as the program’s career digs leader, finishing with a total of 2,184 digs at Embry-Riddle.
