Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics

After finishing her playing career at Embry-Riddle, Paola Virella joined the Eagle coaching staff as a student assistant for the 2018 season.
 
Virella came to ERAU as a junior transfer from Coffeyville Community College in 2016. In her first season as an Eagle, Virella totaled 197 kills, 227.5 points, and 260 digs, all of which were good for third on the team. Last year, Virella tallied 140 kills, third-best on the squad, and 150.5 points and 159 digs, both fifth-best on the team.
