2003 (Freshman): Earned a spot on the squad as a walk-on and by the end of the season was seeing quality time for her defensive ability and service skills...saw her first collegiate action at the Lindsey Wilson Tournament against Southwestern College and recorded a service ace in her second career serve on Sept. 26, 2003...followed the next day with her first career kill against Lambuth University on Sept. 27, 2003...only saw action in 13 matches last season, but recorded 54 digs including four matches with five or more digs including a career-high 20 digs at Webber International on Oct. 10, 2003...also added seven service aces.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Centennial High School splitting time between defensive specialist, setter and outside hitter...earned All-Mountain View League honors in 2002 and 2003...named to the All-Academic team three years...played one year for Rancho-Valley Volleyball Club and one year with the Mavricks Volleyball Club.

Personal: Majoring in Aerospace Engineering...born in Manchester, N.H. on June 5, 1985...daughter of Beth Button (two brothers and one sister)...chose Embry-Riddle for its strong academic reputation and because Engineering is what I want to do with my life.
