Biography

Keeton's Commentary: "Kind of hard to believe that she is a senior this year and a young lady who I have seen develop from her club days to where she is now. Her desire is to have Embry-Riddle be the best program it can be and cares more about how we work together as a team. She is the most dominant player that you will see in the region this year."

2003 (Junior): Posted her best season as an Eagle with 3.91 kills per game en route to a team-high 446 total kills on the year...is on pace to become the all-time career leader in kills entering 2004 campaign 365 kills shy of the mark...garnered All-Florida Sun Conference and All-Region XIV honors for the second time in her career...recorded double-figures in kills in 27-of-33 matches...posted four 20-plus kill matches highlighted by a career-high 26 at St. Thomas on Sept. 20 ? the Eagles first road win against the Bobcats in the history of the program...recorded a .279 hitting percentage to share the team lead among regular hitters with Sandra Mora...hit .300-plus in 16 matches, .500-plus six times and .600-plus on Aug. 29 vs. Baruch (14k-1e-19a, .684), Aug. 30 vs. Berry (11k-0e-17a, .647) and on Oct. 17 at Savannah College of Art and Design (17k-2e-24a, .625)...finished third on the team in digs with 290 and posted 12 double-figures efforts including a season-high 18 at Florida Southern on Sept. 17 and vs. Florida Tech on Oct. 15...led the team with 107 total blocks recording a career-high 34 solos...recorded 15 matches with four-plus blocker efforts and posted seven blocks on three occasions at St. Thomas (3-4-7) on Sept. 20, at Lindsey Wilson (3-4-7) on Sept. 27 and vs. Northwood (2-5-7) on Oct. 4.

2002 (Sophomore): Finished as the top hitter on the Eagles' squad last season with a .250 hitting percentage despite battling back from illness in the middle of the year...appeared in only 99 games, Delahanty led the team in total blocks (86), finished fifth in kills (242) and also corralled 211 digs...recorded a career-high 20 kills against No. 20 Missouri Baptist at the Columbia (Mo.) Cougar Classic on Sept. 6...posted double-figure kill efforts in 14-of-27 matches played...posted an amazing career-best .727 hitting percentage (17k-1e-22a) in a 3-0 victory at Warner Southern (Sept. 13)...recorded a hitting percentage below .150 in just 7-of-27 matches and recorded above .250 in 11 matches including eight matches above .333...recorded a career-high 25 digs vs. St Thomas on Sept. 28...recorded three total blocks or more in 18-of-27 matches including a career-high eight vs. William Woods (Sept. 7).

2001 (Freshman): Most active Eagle during the season, competing in all 40 matches...earned All-FSC and All-Region XIV honors after leading the team in kills (461), attacks (1086), hitting percentage (.253), solo blocks (27), block assists (82) and total blocks (109)...claimed FSC Player of the Week accolades on three times (Oct. 1, Oct. 22, and Oct. 29) ...also one of the Eagles' top defenders with 377 digs...registered 26 double-figure kill performances...eclipsed the .300 hitting percentage mark 15 times...picked up 10 or more digs on 21 occasions...recorded 17 double-doubles during the year...tallied season highs of 22 kills, 21 digs and seven total blocks.

High School: Three-year starter and four-year letterwinner for New Smyrna Beach High...2001 graduate...two-time Most Valuable Player...first-team All-Area honors junior and senior years...named second-team All-State...led NSBHS to a District championship as a junior and a runner-up senior season...also four-year starter in softball, claiming MVP and All-Area accolades...honor roll student...played three years for Daytona Beach Volleyball Club...selected MVP for DBVC.

Personal: Majoring in Aerospace Studies...born in Painesville, Ohio on Sept. 30, 1982...daughter of Ed and Marie Delahanty (3 brothers).
