Mercedes Jorge of the women's basketball team has earned her first Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week honor for the 2015-16 season. Jorge, a junior guard, averaged 11 points and nine rebounds per contest as ERAU went 2-0 on the week. Jorge scored 10 points and collected a season-high 14 boards in a 68-50 win at Saint Leo before scoring 12 points with four rebounds in a 66-55 victory over Barry.
