About Embry-Riddle Cheerleading
Welcome to the Embry-Riddle Cheerleaders home page!
The cheerleading program serves a vital role in filling the atmosphere with spirit at Eagle basketball games along with numerous special athletic events. The cheerleaders’ primary purpose is to interact with the crowd generating enthusiasm and spirit for the Eagles. In addition to their role at ERAU sporting events, the Eagle cheerleaders also serve as ambassadors for the athletic program at fundraising and charitable events. The ERAU cheerleaders cheer at all home men's and women’s basketball games. The team will also be competing at NCA College Nationals here in Daytona Beach, Florida.
As a team member, cheerleaders are expected to follow all NCAA DII rules and regulations. All athletes receive priority registration when signing up for classes. Practices take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m.-9:45 a.m., Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m., and Sundays from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. Strength training for the fall 2022 semester is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
