Mercedes Jorge of the women's basketball team has earned the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week honor for the week of Jan. 25-31. Jorge posted a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds to lead ERAU to a 63-60 road victory at Palm Beach Atlantic on Wednesday, Jan. 27. Three days later she recorded another double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds against Rollins. For the week, Jorge averaged 12.5 points, 14 rebounds and two assists per game.
