Senior middle defender Gudrun Johnson has been named the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 10-16. Johnson tallied a pair of assists during the week, setting up both game-winning goals for the Blue and Gold. On Wednesday, the senior delivered a corner kick that Andrea Froshaug headed in for the game's only goal in a 1-0 win over Palm Beach Atlantic. Three days later, Johnson sent another quality corner kick into the box that was volleyed into the net by Isabelle Haaranen to give the Eagles a 1-0 victory at Lynn.
