Senior guard Mercedes Jorge has been named Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 28-Dec. 4. For Jorge, this marks her second weekly award of the season and fifth of her career. She led the Eagles to a 2-0 record last week, averaging 14 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Jorge tallied 11 points and five boards in a 71-65 win at Saint Leo on Wednesday and followed that up with 17 points and six rebounds in a 57-49 road win over Tampa on Saturday.
