Junior athlete Alex Orr has earned the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week honor for the week of April 3-9. This is Orr's second career weekly award, her first in the sport of track & field. Orr earned the award after breaking the school record in the 5000m on Saturday, posting a time of 17:43.73 to surpass the previous record by nine seconds. It was also the first time Orr had broken the 18-minute mark in the event.
